Today my BFF Celina and Idecided to make Russian tea cakes!



Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 3/4 cup confectioners sugar
  • 2 cups pecans (coarsely chopped)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp ice water
  •  1/8 tsp salt (unnecessary if you use salted butter)
     

Let's get cookin'!


1.Soften dat butter with yo hands (softening dance optional)

2. Chunk dat butter into pieces


3. Cream dat butter and sugar

4. Murder dose nuts

(Don't really do this)

5. Eat way too much powdered sugar and nuts
(Don't really do this either)

6.  Measure da rest and add that shizz

7.  Watch it mix


8. Grease dat pan (wit yo butter wrappas)



9.  Eat half the dough (optional)



10. Roll dem balls 





11. Preheat the oven to 325 Fahrenheit because you forgot earlier (PROFESSIONAL STYLE)

12. Pop 'em in!



13. Set timer fo 20-30 minutes 
(Piggie style timer optional though recommended strongly)


14. Clean while you wait and whistle while you work




15.  Wait fo dem to brown up


16. Admire dem cookies



17. Wait fo dem to harden

18.  Pour Powda Sugar onto a cutting board or something


19. Dunk dem gorgeous cookies in dat
(when slightly hardened but still hot-warm)



 20. Clean da powda sugar wit yo tongue







21. If dare are leftovers enlist the help of some 10 year olds







22. Eat ALL DA COOKIES


23. If tummy hurts, I would grab an ice pawp

24. Lawrdy, do you still have powda sugar left? If so, throw it everywhere





25. Make it rain sugar
